Come one, come all...

...to the Original Vintage & Handmade Spring Fair this Saturday!

We have ordered a special sunshiney day for you & gathered together 40 stalls filled with vintage treasures & handmade delights from all corners of the country to tempt & delight you.

We will hang the bunting & break out the Union Jacks in honour of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee the following week. Step back to the 1950's (or 40's or 30's or 60's if you prefer).

The cakes will be piled high in our vintage tearoom & the kettles boiled, the vintage china will be waiting to be filled with a reviving cuppa by the Billy's Buns crew.

There might be a special treat or two to be found.....

So, why not dress up in red, white & blue & join us at this event which is much anticipated on the Vintage Calendar? The doors open at 10am & close at 4pm so you will have lots of time to browse & chat. The charming Mr Custard will be at the door to welcome you with his cheeky smile. Admission to this delightful event is just £1......bring the children as they are always welcome & entry for them is free.

Remember - the V&H is held in the Chipping Sodbury Town Hall which is on the lovely High Street - accept no imitations! Hope to see you there!!

I'm back (for a bit...)

After what seems a very long time I think I am back in Blogland - at least for a while.
I have spent the last 6 months caring for our two horses which has taken up much of my time.
But! Tamzin finished her 3 year degree last Friday & is now back home so I may have a little more time for blogging.

Having said that, I am frantically trying to get organised for the Vintage & Handmade Spring Fair on the 26th May & on the 27th I am flying off to South Africa to help my mum move house & then in late June my sister & family arrive for a holiday, so you may not hear a great deal from me until July!

In the meantime I just wanted to say 'Hello! I am still here so don't forget me & hope to see lots of you next Saturday at the fair!'

The photo above was taken at my unit at the Gloucester Antiques Centre.
