V&H Fair This Saturday!

Time does seem to fly between the Vintage & Handmade fairs & the next one is almost upon us as it is this Saturday! I have been sorting & pricing & finding things I had forgotten I had. Tamzin & I put together about 20 'goody bags' (in the photo above) which are filled with vintage lovlies for your creative projects.

The V&H Textile & Fashion Fair is a 'must visit' for anyone interested in vintage fashion & home textiles, sewing or creating. So whether you are looking for that special dress or jacket, fabrics & haberdashery for your latest project, a special gift, knitting or sewing supplies, or just love to be surrounded by like minded & creative people, do come along for a great day out.

There will be dozens of stalls over two floors brimming with lovely goodies.
Stallholders include vintage fabric & haberdashery dealers Donna Flower, Liz van Hasselt & Sal's Snippets, textile artists Viv Sliwka & Corinne Phillips, knitting expert Suzie Johnson (from the Kirstie's Homemade Home TV series), fabric designers Sarah Hardaker & Caroline Zoob, the sewing kit company Clothkits, fabulous bags by Beverley Jones, & many more including top quality dealers in vintage textiles, vintage fashion & accessories & re-purposed clothing.

Entrance to the event is free and refreshments will be available all day in our Tearoom with teas, coffees & home made cakes served on pretty vintage china.

Free parking is available all over town.
For more information please visit our website at

Hope to see lots of you there!

  2. Can't believe it's October (and our wedding anniversary) on Saturday. Now, Jayne, I just have one complaint - every vintage fair seems to coincide with some organ recital that husband can't possibly miss - could you liase with our cathedral about dates please. Only joking, hope it all goes very well.

  4. Oh........If only I lived a bit nearer.
I've been away from blogland for a while, Jayne. I was so sorry to read about Lucy. You gave her a lovely life.
I had a dog just like her, she was called Polly....she was such a naughty dog, but I loved her to bits! I'll be thinking of you. SueXXX
