New Neighbours

The horses have new neighbours - 8 mummy goats & 18 kids. They are very curious & come over to say hello like this cute pair.

Shop Update

Yesterday I spent a little while adding some new stock to my online shop.
Vintage Goody bags can be found in 'Vintage Sewing'. These will provide hours of fun - containing all sorts of goodies including a vintage children's magazine, knitting needles, postcards, ribbons, buttons & more. All are colour themed.



I have also added some lovely little evening bags in 'Boudoir'. These are ideal for weddings, evenings, or the prom & all at reasonable prices. I particularly like these 3....the peach velvet has the most beautiful clasp.


This one is so '50's in turquoise satin with sequins & beads.


This one is hand embroidered on black velvet - the peacock is very eye catching.

Full Of The Joys Of Spring!

Balli took full advantage of being turned out without his rug for the first time by having a good roll. As you can see, Dylan was more interested in the serious business of eating....

Textiles, Treasures & Tea!

The sun was shining down brightly on Chipping Sodbury on Saturday at 8.00am when the doors of the town hall were opened to the stallholders attending the Vintage & Handmade Textile & Fashion Fair. Boxes & bags, baskets & bundles were carried in & unpacked to create a glorious display when we opened the door to a very long queue of eager shoppers at 10am.


Is it any wonder that we were busy all day when the stalls had such wonderful treasures available to snap up & take home?

A great day was had by all & once again it was thanks to the extremely high quality & hard work of the stallholders. Thanks also to our new tea team 'Billy's Buns' who kept everyone plied with tea, coffee & cake all day.

V&H Textile & Fashion Fair This Saturday!

Just in case you didn't know - the V&H Textile & Fashion Fair is back in Chipping Sodbury this Saturday! I do hope you will be able to join us. The Fair is held at the Chipping Sodbury Town Hall, South Gloucestershire, BS37 6AD from 10am - 3pm. The vintage baby clothes above are from a lovely selection that I will be bringing to the fair.

This Fair is a 'must visit' for anyone interested in vintage fashion & home textiles,sewing or creating. So whether you are looking for that special dress or jacket, fabrics & haberdashery for your latest project, a special gift or sewing supplies, or just love to be surrounded by like minded & creative people, do come along for a great day out.

There will be 40 stalls brimming with lovely goodies.

Stallholders include vintage fabric & haberdashery dealers, textile artists, fabric designers & many more including top quality dealers in vintage fashion & accessories & re-purposed clothing.

The V & H Fair, with it's extremely high quality goods on offer, has proved very popular with visitors & stallholders alike, with both coming from far & wide to attend - some even travelling from France & Italy to do a bit of vintage shopping!

Entrance to the event is just £1.00 for adults (children free).

Refreshments will be available in our Vintage Tearoom.

Free parking is available all over town.

Another 'in case you didn't know' ....the lovely Tom & Henry of Channel 4's The Fabulous Baker Brothers are based in Chipping Sodbury at Hobbs House Bakery & Butchery & they do super bacon rolls & burgers on a Saturday.
