Just a photo post today to show you my boot sale finds this morning.....it seems to be getting harder to find vintage items amongst the piles of toys, clothes & Ikea cast offs!
It looks like you found some lovely things, especially the books! I know what you mean about the toys & Ikea stuff too! I am jealous of all these car boot posts I am reading today! I have been working all day :(
I have a cake stand just like the china with the flowers I bought it in a charity shop for £2 last year. I love the red spot china, the needlework basket is lovely. I left you a "thank you" on blog dated 15th April. Julie xxxxxxxx
You found some lovely things.I like the red spotty dish. The car boot near here has very little vintage stuff,I'll have to search further afield I think.
I know what you mean. We went to a local boot this morning and I was amazed at all the really soiled shoes on sale. Do people really buy these. The good stuff is certainly dwindling. At least you spotted some goodies.
Too right Jayne, I have been to several this season and had very disappointing results so far. It seems to be mostly baby clothes and just rubbish! Lets hope the season improves! You seem to have found some good stuff so far, well done. Really looking forward to the Fair. Jane xxx
oo you got some lovely things.. i was soo dissapointed with the bankholiday carboot we went to. there was nothing there i spent £1 i couldnt believe it!
My name is Jayne - I'm an avid collector of all things vintage. I live in a 1930's farm cottage at the end of a muddy lane.
I love my family, pets, horse riding, decorating, cooking, sewing, reading, gardening, car boot sales, auctions & fleamarkets.
I have a passion for vintage which has lead to me starting an online shop & becoming a vintage fair organiser which keeps me busy!
Lovely finds Jayne!Love the cake plates! I know what you mean though!
ReplyDeleteI've been today too!

ReplyDeleteA good haul despite of the rubbish. I found the Indoor Gardening book in a CS this week :)
