FIRST FLEAMARKET OF THE YEAR

Yesterday Mr C and I went to our first fleamarket of 2013. While I'm rummaging for bargains Mr C amuses himself taking photos of all the weird and wonderful things on offer, so here is a taster.....

China...

 Little chairs...

People...

Teddy bears...

 Furniture....

Antlers...

Big chairs...

Street signs...

Coats...

Watches...

Spider!

Titanic...

Socks...

and the saddest thing I saw....

  1. Oh, what a strange thing to display! Do you think it was a once loved pet?

  2. Now I like taxidermy in general, but that is so wrong and I can see why it made you :-(

  3. Someone obviously couldn't part with their old spaniel. Poor old moth-eaten thing.

  4. Lovely to see you both yesterday and I agree the taxidermy dog was very sad :( I love the macarbre but even I couldn't live with this in my house. Hope you found lots of lovelies to buy. See you soon.

  5. I do so love a flea market! I got up early on Sunday to go to a local indoor carboot and it hasn't re-opened yet... I'm getting withdrawal symptoms! Jane xx

  7. The customers do look cold. That last photo was a bit of a shock but I suppose his owner loved him so much that's why he had him stuffed. A house just down the road from us has a dog in the window and I thought it strange it was always in the same position until I realised that, too, is stuffed. Happy New Year.
