We had to queue for one & a half hours - we fortified ourselves with coffee & chocolate from Starbucks. The queues were well organised & the visitors were patient & good humoured.
Once we got inside it wasn't at all crowded & we were able to view the exhibits at our leisure.
Some were thought provoking, others humorous & yet others a bit naughty. The animated chicken nuggets were down right disturbing! I know others have blogged about this exhibition too so I've just included a few favourites here.
Poor Thomas!
Hello!
ReplyDeleteI love Banksy, his work is very thought provoking and quite funny! My daughter introduced me to his work about 3 years ago when she borrowed a book from the library.

If I had half his wit put together with my own, then I'd be a full wit.
ReplyDeleteTo be creatively talented and have his wit is to be doubly blessed
Thanks for sharing.
Looking forward to a visit, I love his work :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you made it through the doors to see this exhibition.. love him or loathe him.. I think he is a very clever man.. and the chicken nuggets sends a very powerful message.. just hope it makes people think!

ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your photos from the exhibition. I'm not sure I'll be able to pop down to Bristol to see the exhibition, so at least now I'll be able to join in the musings of my friends who have been! Katie x
