New Shoes!

I just couldn't resist these lovely patchworky shoes when I saw them! I have to admit to having a "thing" for shoes, but not usually ones with heels - I like to be comfortable! I also love boots & probably have far too many of them.

Miss Cottage is a handbag girl & seems to have a million or two draped all around her bedroom. I tend to stick to one good leather one (I don't want to keep swapping purses & things over) & have a variety of shopping tote bags & baskets that I take out with me as well.

So, are you a shoe girl or a bag girl? Or both?

  1. I'm definitely a bag girl! I especially love the whole bag for life idea and find it a perfect excuse to buy new bags!

  2. Both! But now that I'm getting older I can see that I usually use one bag, that is just my bag. Already tried to buy another one, nope this is the bag for me! I like comfy shoes and I think that I don't buy that many, but when I'm honest I buy whenever I see comfy nice ones and now the bag story comes in: I wear just a few pairs (or maybe even one) till it falls apart!

  3. Oh dear what if you're both! Shoes are a real problem though and I have far too many of them even ones that shamefully I haven't worn yet!

  6. Definitely a bag girl, cant resist shopping bags and baskets, I hate shopping for shoes. I have lots of handbags but always come back to my old faithful leather one, it looks a bit shabby and the lining is torn but its an old friend now. Love your new shoes hope they dont give you a new shoe blister! Jane xx

  13. Ooh Jayne lovely shoes! I am a rubbish woman when it comes to buying anything to wear, I hate it. But I prefer bags over shoes slightly!

Sorry I haven't been by for ages, lost the link to the new blog but I'm a follower now so I'll know where to look :)

  14. Oh tricky one to answer.. I love both but rarely indulge these days.
I have a brother who always bought me the most expensive bags from Italy or Switzerland for my birthdays and Christmas presents.. but I have to confess.. I love my old beaten up straw basket the most.
Your shoes are lovely ..will you be making a patchwork bag to match?

  15. Bags! But if I could find enough that fitted comfortably I'd be shoes, too. Bags are quicker to bag! Shoes take time!

I AM A SHOE PERSON. I'M AFRAID THAT I DRAG THE SAME BAG AROUND FOR YEARS, USUALLY TILL MY FRIENDS START OFFERING DONATIONS!
