Today's Visitor
This is the pheasant that thinks it is a chicken & lives with my neighbours flock. She obviously thought it would be fun to visit us in our back garden...it seems nobody has told her what Springer Spaniels are bred to do...luckily Lucy was inside so could only watch through the window!

so funny! we had to swerve in the car today to avoid hitting a pheasant that was casually crossing a busy main road!!
ReplyDeleteOh Lucy is adorable!!! I love springers. xxx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Springer what's his/her name?
ReplyDeleteI always think that pheasents have a death wish - this just shows I am right. They are also very good at the art or taunting. Poor old Lucy

Lucky pheasent! Can you imagine the despair she would be into if Lucy was out?!

I love Pheasants, but they are not the most intelligent of Gods creatures, lol. xxx
ReplyDeleteLovely picture of your dog. My Springer happily ignores our hens (actually she is a bit scared of them) but I think she would soon have that pheasant!
ReplyDeleteawwww bless lucy- she lost out on the chase hehe....she so reminds me of Pipin and Rollie my childhood neighbours dogs- love her floppy brown slightly wavey ears! cute! ;0)xx
ReplyDeletei browsed on your online shop- lovely treats and treaures! ;0)
Would that pheasant outrun Lucy I wonder? One ran out in front of my car once and I couldn't avoid hitting it..I felt awful about it.Mr Boo had a dog like Lucy, infact we did our courting walking our dogs!

What is it about pheasants?! I'm always thrilled to see them and love your photo Jayne - and the handsome springer spaniel too, of course. Bfn, Lesley
