The Eden Project
This is going to be a very picture heavy post as it's really difficult to choose the best ones to show you - there are so many interesting & varied things to see.
I was pleased that it was a cooler & overcast day as inside the rainforest biome was sweltering!
My favourite bits were the allotments, complete with garden shed, lady scarecrow & bunting & the driftwood horse sculpture.
Hope you enjoy the photos!

Love the driftwood horse, that and the allotments must've been added since I went there about 4 years ago. Yes that rainforest biome is always sweltering.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it a wonderful place? We went a couple of years ago and had the wettest of wet days there, but still enjoyed it thoroughly. This post has made me look at my own photos of it. I particularly loved the way the carparks had been "hidden" unobtrusively when the whole thing was planned.
ReplyDeleteI went about ten years ago, the horse was there then but inside near the restaurant. The place looking at your beautiful pictures has changed a bit!

We went to the Eden project for the second time last year and it was just as interesting as the first time. Your photographs are pretty spectacular. I'm hoping we can visit Heligan again this year, I love the walled kitchen garden and the potting shed there.

We only go to Eden in the winter when it is open at night time around christmas. They have ice skating and lantern lit carol singing and allsorts. We love to go in the jungle bio as they only low light it and you have no concept of the dome except the reflection of the lights look like stars, it is very special and quite romantic also not very busy! Love your photos of the flowers, beautiful. Jane xx
