Wow. I had no idea eggs could be so different. They must come from different kinds of chickens? All I know about eggs is how to buy them in cartons at the store.
Amazing the difference isn't it? Ours started off like that but it seems to have evened out now and we have around 60% of the eggs laid being double yokers. Bonus!!
I am sure they will both taste lovely anyway. Thanks for your words of encouragement about my new blog, still trying to get to grips and somehow managed to lose your comment as soon as I had read it ! Love your blog, have been reading it for ages and loved the V&H fair.
Just a few days ago I asked a friend of mine who keeps chicken if it's hard to look after them. She told me some things I never knew - that little chicken, when they first start laying eggs, lay very small eggs. Later on the size increases. So it seems here we can see the evidence :) Very cute.
My name is Jayne - I'm an avid collector of all things vintage. I live in a 1930's farm cottage at the end of a muddy lane.
I love my family, pets, horse riding, decorating, cooking, sewing, reading, gardening, car boot sales, auctions & fleamarkets.
I have a passion for vintage which has lead to me starting an online shop & becoming a vintage fair organiser which keeps me busy!
Wow.
