Mr EM asked what I was laughing at and when I told him, he said, "Aren't those the things with wings?" (Lady bloggers who have met him at fairs with me, will know that he does have a way with words...LOL!)
Excuse me! I am a Grandma and am not used to this sort of thing...(snorting in her glass of wine)...much better than what they were really for..and Harrods no less!
Just noticed (thank you winnibriggs) that they were 3/6 from Harrods, newly in the news. Very interested that it has been sold and hoping it will reclaim some of its old dignity under the new owners. Then I might actually visit it again. My wedding photos were taken in the Way In boutique (had its own lift to the top floor). Oo-er having a nostalgic moment, thank you (I think!)
My name is Jayne - I'm an avid collector of all things vintage. I live in a 1930's farm cottage at the end of a muddy lane.
I love my family, pets, horse riding, decorating, cooking, sewing, reading, gardening, car boot sales, auctions & fleamarkets.
I have a passion for vintage which has lead to me starting an online shop & becoming a vintage fair organiser which keeps me busy!
I don't know WHAT you mean Jayne!! He,he!
