The Vintage & Handmade Fairs have made an appearance in Selvedge magazine this month in a feature about smaller (but perfectly formed) fairs to attend this year.
Both the Textile Fair (3rd July) & Christmas Fair (28th November) merit a listing, plus they used our photo (taken by Mr Cottage & featuring one of Viv's lovely purses) at the top of the page!
Selvedge magazine will be having a stall at our brand new Vintage & Handmade Textile Fair so that will be something to look forward to for visitors & stallholders alike.

Well done on getting coverage for your fair in Selvedge. I used to subscribe but eventually gave up as I found it heavy on, admittedly beautiful, photography and light on detail of the chosen textile subjects. Then a couple of weeks or so ago they sent me a free copy of the March/April issue to encourage me take up a new sub. By chance this issue actually covered in some depth the Quilts exhibition at the V and A which I had just visited, but had already bought the catalogue. I wish I could afford to take up new sub though!
ReplyDeleteI subscribe to Selvedge, which I love, and saw this. Unfortunately it is the wrong side of the country for me, which is such a shame.
