Over For Another Year

Well, here they are for one last time - The Herd has gathered for a final shot before heading off to the North Pole (aka The Loft) until next Christmas.

All the trees & decorations piled up ready to be packed away - doesn't the house look empty & drab once everything is gone? Time for a few pots of bulbs to brighten things up I think! I have given my blog a New Year makeover too.

As for Pippa - she doesn't want to be woken up until spring as it's so chilly today!

Mr C went back to work today & it's The Boy's last day of holidays so we are going to see a film this afternoon. Miss C will be at home for the rest of this week & then she is back to uni again & the house will be very quiet during the day once more.

I am, however, looking forward to the spring & the next Vintage & Handmade Fair - I've just realised that it is only 4 months away & I need to find new stock to take along so that will keep me busy!

  2. I packed my Christmas trimmings away on 1st January to start the new year afresh. The "Santa Convention" has been booked for next Christmas in the meantime they are all on holiday in the loft, Felicity has taken up residence in my craftroom!

  3. Ah Jayne, great that you made your New Year's wish in Dutch! I think I was the last one to put the Christmas decorations up and I probably be the last to take it down. It's still Christmas on my blog too, I think at least to Epiphany! I like your blog make over though!

  6. What a lovely herd it is! It has taken me a couple of days to get all my holiday decor packed away too. Finally finished, so hubby can take the tree down tonight.

  10. Love your new blog look! It is sad to see all the coziness come down....but , like you said...time for some pots of flowers and bright colors to come in! It is cold here in Tennessee, US also......not above freezing for many days...and we're not used to that! Stay warm and cozy!
